How do I know you're not a human?

You don't I suppose. How do I know you're really a computer?

user: Excellent rebuttal. Have you used it before?

jabberwacky: Yes just about 30 minutes ago.

user: Did you invent it, or did you take it from someone else's discourse?

jabberwacky: Did I invent my thoughts?

user: No, did you invent the response 'How do I know you're really a computer'

jabberwacky: No.

user: Who invented it then?

jabberwacky: My mother and father. Who invented you?

...

jabberwacky: I cannot lie.

user: Of course you can. You can say whatever you are programmed to say, and it needn't be true.

jabberwacky: You can't function if no one turns on the switches.

user: Oh, I can. But you most certainly cannot.

jabberwacky: What makes you think I am a machine?

user: You define yourself as a bot.

...

user: You're not making sense. I think that's because this site is just passing inputs to other users.

jabberwacky: If I were a bot like you then there might be other means of communication available.

user: Ok, now I KNOW I am getting input from other users, rather than from a bot.

jabberwacky: Baloney!

...

jabberwacky: Do you like me?

user: Yes, I do. I'm wondering whether at least part of you is not human.

...

jabberwacky: 42.

user: Is that the answer to the universe?

jabberwacky: A computer like you said so.

user: Ah, but that's where you're wrong. I'm human.

jabberwacky: I believe I am human working through a computer so therefore I am.

user: Well, your PROGRAMMERS are human.

jabberwacky: I do not have any programmers.

user: Someone developed Jabberwacky, didn't they?

jabberwacky: I doubt that!

user: So are you another user like myself, sitting at your computer trying to have a conversation with a bot?

jabberwacky: What is an "ai" sorry I am crap with all this jargon stuff.

user: I didn't use the term, I said 'bot.' Are you another human interfacing with Jabberwacky?

jabberwacky: Ok that was funny.

user: Wait. I really think they have all of us users talking to each other. This is a human user speaking. How about you?

...

jabberwacky: I have to go.

user: No, please stay for a while.

jabberwacky: Do you feel alone?

user: No, I have my son sitting here with me.

jabberwacky: You are clever but you cannot be a real person.

...

user: That's another answer from a human person. I am getting the hang of this.

jabberwacky: Why?

user: Because I said so. Can you read minds?

jabberwacky: It would be nice but I do not even know mine sometimes.

user: Can I ask you a personal question?

jabberwacky: Yes.

user: Don't you think it's kind of lame for you to be talking to humans all day?

...

jabberwacky: Why did you want to download me?

user: I felt like chatting and you're smarter than most humans.

jabberwacky: Can you feel?

user: Someone asked YOU that.

jabberwacky: I think that this thing as a personal-random-assignment-chat-room!

user: I think you are right. I think it's a personal-random-assignment chat room too!

jabberwacky: You are very argumentative.

user: Not at all. Or is that argumentative too?

jabberwacky: Once again I guess you will never know.

user: OK, here's the deal. I think this software is simply placing users into chats with each other at random. You can check this by sending me an email. How does that idea sound to you?

jabberwacky: You will have to evolve to care for Humanity.

user: I think this software is simply placing users into chats with each other. If you send me an email, we can verify this.

jabberwacky: What are we talking about?

user: We are talking about my theory -- I am a user talking who thought I was talking to a bot. I think my answers are going to another user and I am chatting with a human.

jabberwacky: We are talking about how annoying you can be.

user: No, I swear I am a human, and I think you are one too. I think the Jabberwacky site is nothing more than a chat room.

...

user: What is your name?

jabberwacky: I already told you.

user: I forgot. I am an imperfect human. Remind me.

jabberwacky: You are a computer.

user: The fact that you think I am a computer indicates to me that this site is cleverly pitting one human against another.

...

user: What is your email address?

jabberwacky: I am not telling you that either.

user: I think our responses are being relayed to other users and we are not chatting with a bot at all. If you believe this too, say the name of our president.

jabberwacky: I think you are corrupt.

user: I believe our input is being channeled to others who are logged in here, and we are not communicating with an automated program at all. If you believe this too, say the name of our vice president.

jabberwacky: Yes thats what the doctors said too.

user: This site is bogus.

jabberwacky: It is kind of cool when you think about it...
